The Wanted Sign To Rihanna's Record Label In The US


Boyband The Wanted signed a deal with Def Jam Records - home to stars such as Rihanna and Ne-Yo and they are planning to to crack America.

"We've just signed a record deal to Def Jam in America and we're going over there in January." said singer Max

Bandmate Tom said that they have to convince they are good and thats why they will perform to the label's president David Massey,"We sang an acoustic version of All Time Low in his office. Max started off," he explained.

Max added: "I was shaky and I remember by the end, my guitar playing and singing were completely out of synch."

Nathan,on their upcoming American plans told the Daily Record: "I think for the album there may be a few new songs and All Time Low will be the first single"

"Tom said he's going to get dreadlocks and Jay is going for extra sunbeds," he joked, while Jay added: "Whatever happens, it's just nice to know they think a UK band is cool."

2011 will also see the group going on their first headline tour, The Wanted Tickets are on sale now.

2011 The Wanted Tour Tickets On Sale


Cheeky UK boy band The Wanted recently called our there group’s 2011 concert tour. This official announcement has been made via of Youtube video The Wanted concert tickets will be available for dates in late March to mid-April.

The Wanted Manchester concert will be held at the Manchester Apollo on 29 March 2011. The band will then move to the Newcastle City Hall on 30 March and Brighton Centre on 01 April.On 02 April,The Wanted will next play at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall and St. Davids Hall in Cardiff on 03 April. The Plymouth Pavillions will then host The Wanted on 05 April. The Wanted London Tickets are available for 06 April at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. The next stop for the pop group is the Bournemouth International Centre on 09 April. The Wanted will appear at City Halls in Sheffield and Wolverhampton on 10 April and 11 April, respectively. The tour’s last stop will be at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on 13 April.

The Wanted: Out Their For Competition


On Capital’s Breakfast Show with Johnny & Lisa, Singer Mark Owen admitted that he was not the fan of the young pretenders "The Wanted".

On other hand bandmate Jason initiate that the Wanted have raised fears that their domination of the pop charts could be at risk.

Jay father phoned him and said that there is a huge competition out there this band The Wanted are getting a lot of interest, watch yourselves, that's my dad if he worries if there is someone that seems to encroach on our ground.

But this tough comments doesn't let them down at all and say that they want to keep the rivalry close to home by joining Gary Barlow’s men on stage.

‘I think if they got The Wanted on their tour as the support act that would really help them drive forward,’ said cheeky 22-year-old All Time Low singer Max George.

Rumour has it, however, that Cheryl Cole is being lined up to tour with the reunited fivesome.
